Getting Started

Wizit is an innovative and responsible lender. Our products include Wizitcard and Powerup. We consider customers in varying situations and promote financial inclusiveness wherever possible.

The Wizitcard is not your usual credit card. The Wizitcard is an interest free credit card, with a simple $19 monthly fee that comes with no surprises - what you see is what you get.

Wizitcard can be used anywhere Mastercard is accepted.

You can choose to apply using the Wizit app (download via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store) or on our website. It’s a simple process, find out more about how it works here.  

We recommend downloading the app as will it be used to accept your contract. The Wizit app allows you to view your balance, update account information and make additional payments.

Applying for your Wizitcard is easy and fast – simply provide your personal details and internet banking details. You’ll also need two forms of identification, either your Driver’s Licence, Passport or Medicare card. Find out more about our application process here.

We have a manageable credit limit of up to $1,000 on the Wizitcard. If you need access to additional funds, you can simply apply for Powerup. Powerup is a separate line of credit up to $30,000 with rates ranging from 19.9% to 47.8%.

The Wizitcard is interest free forever, with minimal transparent fees:

  • 0% p.a. interest.
  • $0 annual fee.
  • $19 monthly fee. The monthly fee will not be charged if, for the entire statement period, your account had a zero balance and the card was not used.
  • $1 late payment fee. This fee is payable per day that the account is overdue and is capped at $100 per rolling 12 month period and subject to a 10-day grace period.
  • $0.55 dishonour fee. This fee is payable if a direct debit is not honoured.
  • 3% international transaction fee. If you ask us to process a transaction in a currency other than Australian dollars a 3% international conversion fee will apply.

Yes, we perform a credit check when you apply for Wizitcard. But we know your credit score isn’t everything. That’s why we take a range of other factors into consideration to ensure you get a fair assessment.

Our application process is quick and easy with a fast decision. You could receive a decision in minutes, but longer if we require further information.

You don’t have to wait for your card to be delivered in the post. Instead, you can start using your Wizitcard instantly by adding it to your Apple or Google Wallet on your smartphone and start spending immediately.

We’re a responsible credit provider and take a variety of information into account when making our decisions. Unfortunately, we can't always disclose the exact reasons that your application was declined.

However, if your situation changes, you can apply again after 30 days.

Applying for your Wizitcard is easy and fast – simply provide your personal details and two forms of identification, such as your Driver’s Licence, Passport or Medicare card.

To verify and assess your application, we securely retrieve your banking information via our third-party provider (Experian Open Data Solutions) or an accredited Consumer Right Data (CDR) Open Banking provider. Learn more about our application process here.

Using the Card

Yes, you can use your Wizitcard to make overseas purchases. International conversion rates apply to purchases made in a currency other than Australian dollars and an International Conversion Fee of 3% will also apply.

As soon as your Wizitcard account has been set up, we will activate your digital card for you! Simply add your Wizitcard to your Apple or Google wallet and you’re ready to go. It’s that easy.

Absolutely. You can add your Wizitcard to your Apple or Google Wallet with ease.

We do not support any other types of digital wallets at this stage.

Yes of course. Add the card to your Apple Wallet and off you go.

Cash advances are not available through your Wizitcard.

From 11 June 2024, you won’t be able to use a credit card or digital currency to place bets. Online and telephone wagering operators will not be allowed to accept payments using these methods. Visit https://www.acma.gov.au/online-gambling-services for more information.

Absolutely. You can use your Wizitcard anywhere Mastercard is accepted via Apple Pay or Google Pay.

You can change your PIN within the Wizit app. Navigate to the ‘Manage Card’ section and follow the prompts.

There is no cost to keep your Wizitcard account open if you have a zero balance and have not used the card in the statement month.

If you have successfully transferred funds from your Powerup account, this should be instant. For any issues, please give us a call during business hours on 1300 730 522.

Please note that interest will apply once your Powerup funds are transferred from your Powerup account to your Wizitcard.

Payments

Your repayments will be due on the date as per your contract. The next repayment date is visible in the Wizit App.

Please allow at least 3 business days for a direct debit payment to be processed to your account.

You will incur a late payment fee if we don’t receive a payment by the statement due date.

If you miss a repayment, you will be given 10 days to bring your Wizitcard account up to date. If your account remains overdue after this time, your account will be placed on hold and you will not be able to make further purchases or transactions.

A Late Fee of $1.00 is payable per day that the account is overdue. This amount is capped at $100 per rolling 12 month period and subject to a 10 day grace period.

A $0.55 Dishonour Fee is also payable in the event that a direct debit is not honoured

A simple $19 monthly fee applies. The monthly fee will not be charged if, for the entire statement period, your account had a zero balance and the card was not used.

Regardless of your credit limit or balance, our minimum repayment amounts are simple and vary depending on your repayment frequency:

  • Weekly: $10
  • Fortnightly: $20
  • Monthly: $45

If your closing balance at the end of the relevant statement period is less than the minimum repayment, then your minimum repayment will be your closing balance figure.

Yes, you can make your required repayments early within the Wizit app. There are no penalties for paying early.

Yes, Wizit allows for BPAY payments to be made. You can find the details on your statement. Please give us a call during business hours on 1300 730 522 if you require assistance.

Please note that payments made via BPAY can take up to 3 business days to process.

Yes, you can use your debit card for any overdue amounts. This can be done via the Wizit App.

Your bank details can be updated through the settings option in the Wizit app.

Not currently. If you need to change your repayment amount or repayment date, please give us a call during business hours on 1300 730 522.

Debit times may vary depending on your financial institution and it's not something we can control. It's safest to leave available funds in your nominated account on the due date for the entire day until it has been debited.

Hardship

Yes, you can temporarily lock your card in the Wizit app. Log in to the app, navigate to the manage card section and tap the 'lock card' toggle. You can unlock your card by switching the toggle off.

While your Wizitcard is locked, no further transactions can be processed.

You will need to download and install the Wizit app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store in order to log in to your account.

Your money will be available to you within minutes of the Powerup request, 24 hours a day, if your bank supports Osko® payments. If your bank doesn't support Osko® payments, your funds will be available to you in under 3 hours if processed before 2:30pm (AET) on a business day. Outside of business hours, funds will be deposited the next business day

Transfers to your Wizitcard are instant via the Powerup function in the app.

Transfers from Powerup to your Wizitcard are instant.

Please note that interest will be charged to your Powerup account as soon as funds are transferred from your Powerup account to your Wizitcard.

Subject to approval, you can transfer unused credit from your Wizitcard to your Powerup account up to the amount of any prior Powerup. Contact us on 1300 730 522 during business hours if you would like to make a request.

A credit limit is the maximum level of credit we agree to make available to you under a contract with us. This amount is based on your requirements and objectives and our assessment of your situation and income. We will either approve your request or offer a credit limit that is right for you based on the current circumstances when you apply.

The Available balance is the amount you have remaining to use from your credit limit.

The amount that you owe on your account.

A Top Up allows you to apply to access more funds on your Powerup account.

The amount available to you will increase over time as repayments are made provided your account is in good standing.

As you are requesting to access further funds, an application is required. Once your application has been submitted, we will determine if your application is successful and the maximum Top Up amount you are eligible for.

If you are eligible, simply log in to the Wizit app to apply.

The maximum value of a Top Up is the difference between your balance owing at the time of application and your pre-existing credit limit.

Yes, the value of a Top Up can change due to a variety of factors such as interest charges, account fees, spending or repayments.

Once you are eligible to apply for a Top Up, you will be presented with an option to apply in the Wizit app.

You don’t always have immediate access to your Top Up amount. This may be because:

  • The amount you have requested is less than the Minimum Request Amount (this is the lower of $500 or 25% of your credit limit).
  • You have made a repayment recently and the funds have not yet cleared.
  • We consider there has been a material change in your financial circumstances.
  • We consider you may be experiencing financial hardship.
  • Your account/s are currently in arrears.
  • You have recently had an unsuccessful application.

In order to apply, you must meet the eligibility criteria. As you are applying for a Top Up, we already have most of the information we need. However, we may request you to upload recent bank statements via our secure, automated system.

A number of factors are considered when determining the outcome of an application such as current balance, status of your account or any change in circumstance since you opened your account.

Payments

When enabled, Auto Powerup automatically transfers funds at point of checkout from your Powerup account to your Wizitcard if the available limit from your Wizitcard is not sufficient to pay for the transaction. Interest charges apply to the transferred amount.

You can enable Auto Powerup in the app which can be found in the ‘Manage Card’ area of the Wizit App.

As of June 2025, Wizitpay is not currently accepting applications for new customers.

As of June 2026, Wizitpay is no longer accepting new purchases.

Account

As of July 2026, account information will no longer be visible on the Wizit App. Please contact us if you require any further information.

Payments

If you miss a repayment, your Wizitpay account will be placed on hold so you will not be able to make further purchases until you catch up. A $5 monthly late fee will be charged to your account.

We understand that sometimes things happen, and while it is never nice to be behind, if you bring your account up to date before the end of the month, your late fee will be waived.

Please note - Late Payment Fees are capped at $5 per month, regardless of the number of missed payments in that month.

There will be a monthly fee of $5 charged only when you are using your account and you have a balance remaining at the end of the month.

If you pay off your balance before the end of the month, or are not actively using your account at all during the month, there is no monthly fee.

All fees are billed on the last calendar day of the month in which those fees are incurred and are payable on the 3rd calendar day of the month following the month in which they were incurred.

Yes, you can make your required repayments early. There are no penalties applied if you do this. Please contact our Customer Service on 1300 730 522 during business hours to discuss how.

My Orders

We take on the customer initiated fraud risk so you will still get paid. We ask if you discover fraud at any point with an order, please contact us here or by calling us on 1300 730 522 to report it straight away.

Payments

Wizit has no setup fees and our merchant fees start from a low 2%.

Wizit will deposit payment into your nominated bank account, minus our fees, the following business day.

These transfers are subject to regular bank processing times.

To verify the status of your order, check your retailer portal or your e-commerce platform which will display all successful purchases.

Anything Else

At Wizit, we don’t have any lock in contracts, so this means you can disable our plugin at any point. If you are having concerns, we simply ask that you get in contact with us first (via 1300 730 522) so that we can try and resolve any concerns you have with continuing our partnership.

Any request for changes to be made to your account must be requested by an authorised person via email (please refer to the agreement/system for details).

The authorised person is generally the signatory on the agreement or the nominated delegate.

These requests must be made via email to the Wizit Retail Support Team. Only existing authorised contacts can request changes to their Retail Portal.

In the event of a new staff member holding the position, the request must come from the existing authorised contact with an explanation of the change, e.g. they are no longer with the company, etc.

An incident refers to an unplanned interruption or reduction in quality of Wizit’s Systems or IT Support Services.

Please contact our Wizit Retail Support Team here or by calling us on 1300 730 522 to first report the issue.

We will then escalate the issue internally and will be in contact with you to discuss further (impact, timeframe for resolution, actions we are taking to resolve the issue, etc.)

Integration steps vary depending on your e-commerce platform. To find out further details about integrating, head to our Integration and API page. Alternatively, get in touch with our team who will be more than happy to help.

We currently integrate with WooCommerce, Wordpress, Magento, Magento 2, Salesforce, Opencart, Lightspeed and Prestashop.

Refunds are initiated by you. You are able to complete this request in the admin area of your e-commerce platform or via your Wizit retailer portal.

If a customer contacts Wizit about a refund, we will advise the customer to contact you to discuss the situation.

We have a complex system that constantly monitors and evaluates an array of data.
